Mrs. Nanda is a meritorious police officer who has received President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service, 2013 and the Police Medal for Meritorious Service, 2006. She is an academic scholar, recipient of Senior Chevening Fellowship – Gurukul Programme at the London School of Economics, 2003 – Project on Globalization & Crime. Mrs. Nanda was felicitated from the CBI for successful prosecution of a sensitive case involving a State Chief Minister. Mrs. Nanda has worked extensively in investigation of sensitive corruption cases with a bearing on National Security like the Naval War Room leak case. She has been member of Working Group to prepare draft protocol for preventing Crime & Violence by Children (under Ministry of Women & Child). She has been credited with setting up India’s first Cyber Crime Investigation Cell in the CBI and systematized procedures of investigation and evidence gathering.
Ms. Singh has a Master degree in Law and had taught at the Faculty of Law of Delhi University before joining police service. She was awarded the prestigious Chevening scholarship for ‘Women in Leadership and Management’ at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom (UK). She has held several key positions. After having served as DCP/South-West District and DCP/South-East District in Delhi, she was selected as Private Secretary to the Hon’ble Speaker of Lok Sabha. She has also served on deputation to IB. She is the first woman officer to head the security of the Hon’ble President of India as Jt.CP/Rashtrapati Bhawan. She has served as IG/Law & Order in Andaman and Nicobar Islands (ANI) and is currently posted as Joint Commissioner of Police, Western Range. She was conferred the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Services in 2012 and the Special Duty Medal for her services in Andaman & Nicobar Islands (ANI).
Bharti Arora is a 1998 batch IPS officer. She has served as SP in Ambala, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Rewari districts, as Joint CP Gurgaon and Joint CP Faridabad. As Joint CP Traffic Gurugram, she started several sustainable transport initiatives -- Raahgiri, Car-free Day, light-a-cycle, road safety summer camp for schoolchildren, zero tolerance days, joy of giving week, road safety officers (RSOs) and community policing which were awarded by the Union Ministry of Urban Development with the Annual Urban Mobility India (UMI) award for best NMT project. She was selected as the 'Hundred Women Achievers of India' by Ministry of Women and Child Development Govt. Of India in 2016 and was felicitated by President of India. She was conferred the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious service in 2018. She has worked for spiritual healing of jail inmates in prisons of Haryana and sex workers of GB Road Delhi. She is presently serving as IGP Karnal Range.
Dr. Singh received various honours such as Director General of Police Insignia, 2011 for “Outstanding achievement and exemplary courage show in adverse circumstances”, the exceptional Internal Security Medal, 2012 from Government of India for showing undaunting courage in Naxal hotbed. Her contribution in dealing with COVID-19 was recognized by the Home Minister of Maharashtra bestowing upon her the “Corona Yoddha” award. The Times of India recognized her exceptional contribution in public service.
Dr. Gopinath is a decorated civil servant having received the Honourable Karnataka Chief Minister’s Medal in 2018 for the exemplary work rendered as SP, Tumkur. She was actively involved in the development of POL-APP, the official mobile application of Kerala Police which has more than 2.5 lakh downloads. She coordinated the development and implementation of Sabarimala Pilgrim Management Systems (SPMS) – an online gateway to Sabarimala during the year 2019. Dr. Gopinath has received the Badge of Honour from the State Police Chief, Kerala for the work rendered as Superintendent of Police, Information and Communication Technology.
Amanjeet Kaur is an IPS, 2009 batch, Assam-Meghalaya cadre. She is presently working as Superintendent of Police Nalbari, Assam. Originally from Punjab, she has worked in various capacities across Assam in last 11 years.
