The roundtable between Keizai Doyukai and Ananta Centre provides a platform for corporate leaders from India and Japan to exchange ideas, gain a deeper understanding of macro issues affecting the bilateral relationship, and identify areas of cooperation and limitations through frank and open discussions. The bilateral relationship, which has grown on a bedrock of converging strategic interests, has encompassed expanding business, cultural and people-to-people ties. The topic of the second roundtable was “Net Zero Carbon Mandate”. Both countries are adopting policies that will slowly but steadily reduce carbon emission. The discussions were based on opportunities, significant changes in technology, innovation and collaboration on areas that compliments a sustainable society.
