Navani Rising Generations Fellowship
The Navani Rising Generations Fellowship Omega is a one-week residential programme designed to help school students in grades 9–12 discover and develop their leadership potential. Set in the Yercaud hills of Tamil Nadu, it brings together academic rigour, philosophical dialogue, and outdoor adventure in a single immersive experience – equipping participants with the values, skills, and self-awareness to lead with confidence and purpose.
- Currently enrolled in Grade 9, 10, 11, or 12 (ages 14–17)
- Academically curious, with active engagement in extracurricular activities
- Strong written and spoken command of English
- A collaborative team player who embraces challenge and takes initiative
Held at the Inme Yercaud campus — a 250-acre coffee estate in the Shevaroys range of the Eastern Ghats, sitting at 4,500 feet above sea level — the programme combines intellectual seminars with outdoor exploration across seven days. Participants live in shared tents, attend guided sessions led by Aspen-certified moderators, and engage with foundational texts on power, ethics, and society.
- Socratic dialogue Thought-provoking discussions on readings from Machiavelli, Plato, Rousseau, and others — building critical thinking and the ability to hold nuanced views.
- Outdoor adventures Rock climbing, rappelling, adventure treks, and obstacle courses that test resilience and foster genuine teamwork.
- Theatre workshop Interactive drama sessions that build confidence, creative expression, and public presence.
- Community engagement Hands-on activities that connect participants to the world beyond the campus and ground leadership in service
Fellows leave Omega with more than memories — they leave with a clearer sense of who they are as leaders, and with practical experiences that strengthen both their personal development and their university applications.
- Academic edge Leadership experiences at Omega directly strengthen statements of purpose and university applications, particularly for those considering study abroad.
- Intellectual growth Engagement with canonical texts and structured dialogue sharpens analytical thinking and the capacity to articulate ideas under pressure.
- Self-awareness Participants discover their personal leadership style through reflection, mentorship, and real challenge — not just theory.
- Global perspective Connecting with students from across India, fellows learn to think across contexts and engage meaningfully with different worldviews.
