Global Changemakers Workshop 2026
The Ananta Aspen Centre was privileged to co-host this year’s Global Changemakers Workshop (GCW) with the Aspen Institute International Partners Program, bringing together changemakers from around the globe for meaningful conversations on “Decision-Making in the Age of AI.”
Held from 17–20 September in Hyderabad, the workshop featured three days of rich dialogue and exchange through Socratic Dialogues, Policy Roundtables, a Panel Discussion, and a concluding Policy Simulation that challenged delegates to put their ideas into practice.
The programme also offered opportunities to experience Hyderabad’s rich culture and heritage. Delegates visited the iconic Falaknuma Palace for a guided tour and evening reception featuring traditional Sufi qawwali, as well as Golconda Fort for a tour and spectacular light and sound show.
The workshop also provided a closer look at India’s rapidly evolving technology ecosystem. We were privileged to visit Micron’s Hyderabad campus and learn more about its journey towards AI, and visited T-Hub, one of the world’s largest innovation and incubation ecosystems.
From thoughtful conversations on AI and decision-making to cultural experiences and insights into India’s innovation landscape, GCW 2026 was an enriching exchange of ideas, perspectives, and possibilities.
