India and Japan have been deeply committed to building and strengthening relations based on shared values and ambitions. Japan-India Strategic Dialogue, in partnership with the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, was held in Tokyo, in November 2022. With both countries celebrating 70 years of diplomatic relations this year, the track-2 dialogue provides an opportunity to focus on different areas of cooperation and the future of this partnership. The dialogue highlighted the growing importance of non-traditional security issues, ever changing geopolitical dynamics in the Indo-Pacific, resilient infrastructure development and economic prosperity. The dialogue is a way forward to enhancing new realities globally and state-to-state relations.
