Ananta Centre is an independent organization registered under the Indian Trust Act. It focuses on leadership development and encourages frank and open dialogue on the most important issues facing Indian society, to help foster its transformation. The Centre also engages civil society, business, governments and other key stakeholders on issues of importance to India’s development, foreign policy, strategic affairs and national security.
Ananta Centre’s mission is twofold: to foster values-based leadership, encouraging individuals to reflect on the ideals and ideas that define a good society, and to provide a neutral and balanced venue for discussing and acting on critical issues. The Institute is based in Delhi and has an international network of partners.

The Program Executive will be working with the Program Director and the team at Ananta Centre and will be responsible for:
- Develop and lead new initiatives that will support the organization’s mission and programs

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS TEAM
We are a convening body for exchange of ideas, broadening perspectives and enhancing capacity to create sustainable solutions on a wide variety of issues.
We bring together the brightest minds from diverse fields, combining their knowledge and expertise towards developing a robust policy paradigm. We engage civil society, business, governments and other key stakeholders through our uniquely-designed Track 1.5 and Track 2 Strategic Dialogues, Forums, Round Tables, Workshops, Public Sessions and Task Forces.
The Track 1.5 and Track 2 processes seek to assist the G2G channels in finding solutions beyond the contours of the existing bilateral relationship. We do this by recognizing potential areas of conflict, identifying solutions to existing roadblocks and recommending new avenues of collaboration for industrial, economic, political, environmental and cultural growth.

PROGRAMME OFFICER- Climate - Energy Portfolio
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide a wide range of research, content, administrative and logistical support towards various programmes in the Climate – Energy Portfolio of Ananta like the Track II Dialogues on Climate Change & Energy with the US and UK, G20 Sessions, Climate – Energy elements of Ananta’s other dialogues and new projects developed in this space.
- Conduct background research and maintain active knowledge of current foreign affairs and climate action news
- Identify stakeholders relevant to the programmes across sectors - academia, industry, media, civil society, government
- Proofread and edit written materials and publications
- Assist in the writing of briefings, summaries, statements, grant proposals, and reports
- Attend meeting sessions and take substantive notes
- Generate conference materials and manage detailed information vital to conference planning
- Draft correspondence for communication with meeting participants and outside vendors (e.g. invitations, memos, summary documents, etc.)
- Run event logistics (virtual and in-person), including setting up the event page, coordination with various venue teams, provide webinar support, identify event promotion opportunities, monitor conference/webinar invitees and attendees.
- Draft concept notes for new programs, conferences and research initiatives.
- Communicate and work with internal and external teams (consultants) as required to support research and logistics
- Collaborate with the communications team to curate content from conducted programmes for the Ananta social media handles
- Provide support for Ananta’s flagship programmes in other teams, tasks assessed in consultation with the reporting manager.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD DEMONSTRATE
- Understanding of basic principles of operations
- Research skills of two kinds: brief insights with a quick turnaround time and cited longform with longer gestation timelines.
- Great computer proficiency (working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Effective oral and writing skills, including the ability to synthesize information.
- High proficiency in English
- Enjoyment in supporting the team and members for the ultimate goal of building a robust dialogue between key stakeholders
QUALIFICATION

- Oversee all financial elements of their respective programmes - preparing budget, exploring new sources of funding, preparing final statement of expenditure.

COMMUNICATIONS SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Key Responsibilities –
- Develop and implement innovative social media strategies designed to reach key audiences.
- Execute social media campaigns with the aim of expanding viewership and increasing engagement.
- Proficient in posting and managing all channels including FB, Linkedin, Twitter, youtube etc.
- Well versed with email marketing tools.
- Execute platform specific campaigns for social media.
- Measure and monitor all social media channels and campaigns.
- Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications and channels.
- Evaluate and improve systems and methods of targeting, tracking, reporting, and evaluation of our social media programs.
- Work closely with the core departments & design teams on all copy, creative and branding initiatives.
- Report on channel performance and derive insights that could be used to inform or evolve the social media strategy.
