The program’s multipronged strategy includes: teaching mothers how to prepare nutritious food out of locally available ingredients and to create their own kitchen gardens; converging government schemes on child development and food security; and engaging ICDS, Primary Health Centre (PHC), and the Rural Hospital (RH) to help follow up on the management of malnourished children.
