


India Canada Dialogue

The inaugural edition of the India Canada Dialogue was held on 17th February 2025 in New Delhi. This Track 2 dialogue was co-convened by Ananta Aspen Centre and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. The dialogue had around 25 thought leaders from academia, industry experts and former diplomats from Canada and India. The discussions focused on sharing views and recommendations to improve cooperation in the Indo-Pacific, build trust in technology and digital public infrastructure, strengthen economic ties, and place the bilateral relationship within the changing global order. As both nations are growing, their cooperation will play an important role in shaping the future of regional and global affairs. The the aim of the dialogue was to find convergence in the divergence and to derive policy recommendations, leveraging opportunities, sharing knowledge, and building trust for future India-Canada relations.
