The Banyan Tree holds a special place in Indian folkore, with many tales centered around it from times immemorial. And what holds true to this day is that it’s eternal nature, ever-growing branches, roots and wide canopy make it a perfect community centre – under which wise men and women congregate to share, think and converse. The Banyan Tree Dinner is designed as an evening of dinner and conversation with a purpose. The pivot of the evening is a reading and a moderated discussion around it – to allow the participants to experience an Aspen-style dialogue.
